United Church Women (U.C.W.) We have two groups that meet at various times:
* Crystal Unit. * Pearl Unit
Communications Provides channels of communication not only for our congregation, but for our community as well.
Décor Arranges decorations to enhance the church.
Membership: Keeps a current list of all members &
adherents, including their talents and interests, and follows
up on those who become inactive. Promotes &
encourages a welcoming and warm atmosphere for all.
Mission & Service: Develops plans and projects to
educate the congregation about the work of the church
both at home and abroad. Looks after the recording and
forwarding on of M&S funds received from the various
church groups.
Property: Maintains the church building and grounds,
and develops a plan of maintenance which involves yearly
progressive care and improvements.
Stewardship & Finance: Prepares the annual budget for
approval of the Council, oversees the funds of the church,
paying all accounts and financial obligations.

Quilting Mondays, 9:30 am Church Hall
The Loaves and Fishes Provide delicious lunch, follow-ing
our service, the last Sunday of every month, and any catering that
may be needed. Luncheons are held in the G. Connolly Hall.
Young at Heart Fridays, at 12:15 pm Church Hall
Christian Development: Determines the educational needs
of the whole congregation so that the programs and events can
be designed and carried out. Offes guidance & support to all leaders/teachers encouraging them to attend various events for
personal growth.
Expanded Pastoral Care Team: Provides a more efficient and
reliable means of communication within the whole congregation,
assists our Minister, and ensures that we are aware of everyone's
needs.
Ministry & Personnel: Keeps staff job descriptions up to date, reviews their remuneration and working conditions, and makes recommendations to the Council. Ensures that the Minister participates in continuing education programmes.
Outreach: Explores and responds to the needs of the community,
working with other congregations and community organizations.
Refugee: Works under the aegis of our Outreach Committee, to
help newly arrived refugees in whatever way we can.
Worship: Assists the Minister with the planning and organizing
of all worship services.
