Parkwoods people care about each other and about those beyond our church walls, contributing time, energy and financial gifts to our many outreach programmes. We strive to help those in need in and around our community wherever possible.

COMMUNITY OUTREACH ~ Parkwoods people care about each other and about those beyond our church walls, contributing time, energy and financial gifts to our many outreach programs. We strive to help those in need in and around our community wherever possible. You can join us in our focus on;

o Out-of-the Cold Program - working with Eastminster United Church by sending volunteers to help with their Friday evening;

o Massey Centre ~ collecting and donating needed items to a residence for pregnant teens and single mothers

o Eva's Place ~ collecting and donating needed item, to a shelter for teens;

o Meadowcroft Seniors Residence - visiting with residents and conducting monthly worship services;

o Mountain of Warmth ~ project where clothing is collected and given out to local schools, and also adults in need;

o Project Christmas Child ~ participate annually, by filling shoe boxes with gifts for children living in Third World Countries;

o Rayoak Food Bank ~ collecting and storing food for those in need in our own community
